Risks, inequalities, and problems of people with Disabilities in the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of ICTs

Abstract

The risks, the inequalities, and problems of people with Disabilities in the COVID-19 pandemic are analyzed in this article. The focus is on the impact of pandemic on health issues of the people with disabilities, on the health services access, on the higher probabilities of infections, on the higher rates of mortality, on difficulties of taking supporting services, on social isolation and finally on the positive supportive role of ICTs
